Year 6 compete in their final Ashmead Sports Day!

On Friday, upper school had their Sports Day at Ladywell fields. It was a fantastic occasion and a wonderful way to celebrate some of the great sporting talents we have at our school. We were incredibly lucky with the weather which stayed warm and sunny throughout the day, despite some uncertain forecasts beforehand.

There were impressive athletic performances and some show-stopping moments in some of the field events (howler throw, target throw and shotput), but importantly, there were also some lovely examples of fantastic team spirit.The excitement built throughout the day culminating in the traditional and highly competitive Staff Vs Year 6 relay race!
