Year 1- Fig and Holly classes
Jenny Jones teaches Fig class and Maddy Carrick teaches Holly class.
In Year 1 the children start the National Curriculum. Each half term you will be sent a ‘Knowledge Organiser’ detailing the key knowledge that will be covered that term (linked to a central topic) and a ‘Curriculum Overview’ showing what will be taught in each National Curriculum subject.
Over the year we will be learning about these topics:
Autumn 1: The Wonderful World of Me
Autumn 2: The Enchanted Wood
Spring 1: Journeys and Tales
Spring 2: Places and Spaces
Summer 1: Claws, Feathers and Fins
Summer 2: Green Fingers
